Mega 98.3 began its 2024 season from the renowned Half and Half Festival, held in Punta Ballena, department of Maldonado, Uruguay. In addition to covering the event, the station broadcast live the show Gustavo Cordera.
The program “Everything else too”, hosted by Baby Contepomi, carried out special coverage of the festival from Mega’s exclusive space in Punta Ballena. During this transmission, the driver and his team Ayelén Velazquez, Vero Carelli and Martin Urruty-, they chatted with Carlos Páez Vilarósurvivor of the tragedy of the Andes and with Leandro Quirogaorganizer of the Medio y Medio Festival.
Besides, Martin LaventureGeneral Director of Tourism of the Departmental Administration of Maldonado, joined the special broadcast, highlighting the positive impact of the festival on local tourism and underlining the relevance of this type of events for the promotion of the region.
