There he presented the “Walter Payton Man of the Year Award” to football player Cameron Heyward of the Pittsburgh Steelers. When presenting the award, Prince Harry reportedly said to the NFL players in the audience: “What you do on and off the field is truly remarkable. You are role models for millions of people by the way you behave and the way you act gave something back.” He also joked that the Americans stole rugby from the British and simply made their own game out of it.

He then honored Heyward with the award. The NFL star was celebrated for his social commitment. As part of the award, he received $250,000 to donate to a charity of his choice. The 34-year-old was apparently thrilled that Prince Harry presented him with the award. “Man, Prince Harry! I’m in shock. That’s Prince Harry!” Heyward shouted as he took the stage.
