From stunt training to horse riding, the actor has acquired many new skills through his various roles. There is one thing he would particularly like to learn in a future role.
The actor Jannik Schümann (31) has already learned a lot through his job. “I’ve been very lucky in recent years to have always played characters who somehow had an ability that I didn’t have as Jannik. I learned horse riding and fencing, got a lot of stunt training for “Sisi” and for ” Westwall” got a motorcycle license,” Schümann told the German Press Agency.
He received extra dance training for his new role in the series “Disko 76,” which is now available on the streaming service RTL+. In the six episodes, the disco wave of the 70s spills over to Bochum, Schümann plays a gifted dancer.
The 31-year-old still has one wish for a future role: “It would be a huge challenge to learn to swim professionally. I came up with the idea while reading the novel “22 Lanes”, which I immediately fell in love with.” There is a role in the story that he would really like to play if this novel were to be made into a film. “It would be really cool to take on this challenge.”
