A 25-year-old was driving her car in the direction of Schardenberg and an 87-year-old came towards her. There was a head-on collision on a curve in the forest – it was still unclear why. Both were injured, the 25-year-old seriously. They were cared for by the Red Cross and taken to the Passau Clinic.
The fire department cleaned up after the accident. An alcohol test on the 25-year-old was negative; a test could not be carried out on the 87-year-old for health reasons. According to the police, he did not show any symptoms of alcoholism.
