Hollywood actress Zoe Saldaña advises her sons to respond calmly to mean comments from classmates. “I just had an incident at my child’s school where someone called him a nerd,” the 45-year-old told US presenter Jimmy Fallon. She then looked at her child and said: “Then you turn around and say: “Thank you””.
Recalling her roles in the hit “Avatar” films as well as several “Avengers” films, Saldaña said: “The interesting thing is that they were created, written and directed by people who were probably bullied when they were younger and were considered nerds.” The actress has three sons with her husband Marco Perego, who were born in 2014 and 2017.
