Cavalli founded the company named after him in 1970 and became world-famous, particularly with creations with an animal fur look. He also always made a name for himself with his extravagant lifestyle, including two wives and a total of six children. Cavalli only became a father again in 2023 at the age of 82. The mother of his son Giorgio is the Swedish model Sandra Nilsson (38). Cavalli was also considered a darling of the international jet set. He sold 90 percent of the shares in his company Roberto Cavalli in 2015 and recently retired into private life.
