Why is cockroach milk so good?
Although the commonly negative association with cockroaches can generate skepticism, it is important to note that there is a particular species, known as “Diploptera punctata” either beetle cockroach. This species is found in various countries such as Australia, Burma, Fiji, India, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia.
The study reveals that these cockroaches produce a liquid in the form of protein crystals with those who feed their young in their womb, a unique process since They do not lay eggs like other insects. This liquid, loaded with essential nutrients, is what draws the attention of scientists and nutrition experts.

It is not as easy as it looks
However, despite the promising nutritional advantages offered by beetle cockroaches, its mass production and marketing is very complicated. The tiny size of these insects, approximately coffee bean, makes the extraction of its benefits very arduous.
Removing the liquid from the embryos was a process that it took 54 days to a group of researchers.
