The film is based on the case of the youngest woman in Argentina to receive a life sentence for the murder of her boyfriend.
Amazon Prime Video released the trailer of nahirthe new Amazon Original film, a fictional thriller and drama based on one of the most moving real crime police cases in Argentina in recent years.
In 2018, Nahir Galarza19 years old, played by Valentina Zenere (Elite, Soy Luna) became the youngest woman to be sentenced to life imprisonment in the country. The young woman was accused and convicted of killing her boyfriend, Fernando Pastorizzo. The story took a turn when he accused his father, a police officer, of being the real murderer; which was quickly ruled out by the justice system.
Nahir will be available on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The cast also includes the presence of César Bordón (Luis Miguel, the Series, Something Incorrect), Monica Antonopulos (Stolen Lives, Death in Buenos Aires), Nacho Gadano (Diary of a Gigolo, Violetta) and Simon Hempe (The Snow Society, Intertwined) among others.
Nahir was created and produced by Lucas Jinkisdirected by Hernán Guerschuny (Double Discourse, Recess, A Night of Love) and written by Sofia Wilhelmi (Rooster Days). It is a production of Zeppelin Studio (Días de Gallos, Bilardo, el Dr del Fútbol and Diego, el corazón Adiós).
“The film narrates the different versions detailed in the police report. It is an exciting project that we worked on for four years and that involved an in-depth investigation into one of the most shocking Argentine police cases in recent years,” said Jinkis, producer and creator of the film in a statement. “Nahir is a story about how toxic relationships can end in tragedy.”
Nahir will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on May 22.
