Actor Josh Duhamel (51) mourns the loss of his stepfather George Kemper. the “Shotgun Wedding” actor posted the sad news. “I said goodbye to my stepfather George Kemper today,” he wrote in his statement. He goes on to describe Kemper as an “incredible man with a larger-than-life personality and a laugh that filled the room.”
Apparently Josh Duhamel owes a lot to his mother Bonny L. Kemper’s husband: “He pulled my mother Bonny, my sister Ashlee and me from the wrong side of the tracks into a life full of opportunity. He also gave me two other beautiful sisters, McKenzee and Kassidy, thank you for everything you did for us, Big George.”
Ex-wife Fergie also expressed her condolences
His ex-wife Fergie (49) also expressed her sadness in the comments on Duhamel’s post: “I have such beautiful memories of George. He was always so warm to me. Love and angelic prayers for the whole family.”
George Kemper died on April 9th in the San Tan Valley of Arizona at the age of 74. Josh Duhamel’s stepfather was the founder and operator of one of the largest family-owned construction companies in North Dakota.
Josh Duhamel himself is the father of a ten-year-old son. Axl comes from his marriage to singer Fergie, which lasted from 2009 to 2019. The actor has been married to model Audra Mari (30) since 2022. The two have been parents to a son named Shepherd Lawrence since January.
