The Monegasque royal family has arrived in Hamburg. The reason for the short visit is a mini version of Prince Albert II’s home in Miniatur Wunderland.
Prince Albert II of Monaco and his family arrived in Hamburg on Thursday. At midday they were driven from Hamburg airport to the “Vier Saisons” hotel on the Alster, where they gave autographs to some onlookers. The reason for the short visit to the Elbe is the opening of the Monaco section in Miniatur Wunderland – a huge model railway system.
Before the start of the first Formula 1 race in the mini version of the dwarf state, Prince Albert II, his wife Princess Charlène and the nine-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella will get to know the Miniatur Wunderland in the afternoon on a private tour with the founders. The Regent (66) and his wife (46) then want to go to a cocktail reception with prominent invited guests.
