She was forbidden from having another child and her finances were also controlled by her guardian, father Jamie Spears. Spears has been a free woman again since November 2021 – and she seems to be enjoying her new life to the fullest.

According to various US media reports, Spears’ everyday life currently consists primarily of luxury vacations. As TMZ reports, Spears travels around the world almost once a month. Her favorite destinations are either Hawaii, Mexico or French Polynesia. Spears is currently said to spend almost a million dollars per trip. People around her are already worried, reports TMZ, quoting a source from Spears’ inner circle: “She can’t afford it. She had $60 million when the guardianship ended, and she’s where she is now Guardianship began – in danger of going bankrupt.”
However, according to other insiders, it is currently unlikely that Spears could go bankrupt. The reason is the extremely profitable book deal she signed for her memoirs “The Woman in Me.” “Very substantial” royalties come about as a result, “Page Six” quotes an expert. Spears receives 25 percent of the net profit from sales. In signing the book deal, Spears (or her financial advisors) showed some sense. Variety described the conditions in February 2022 as “record-breaking.”

But now she’s on her own,” the source says.
In the future, Spears will probably have to think about new income streams. She didn’t want to return to the music industry, she made that clear in an Instagram post at the beginning of the year.
