The German Film Prize was awarded in Berlin for the 74th time. Celebrities flocked to the Theater am Potsdamer Platz. Many of the so-called Lolas went to female filmmakers, for example in the categories “Best Director”, “Best Screenplay”, “Best Costume Design” and “Best Editing”. Director Matthias Glasner won the main prize for best film, Lola in Gold, for his drama “Die”. Corinna Harfouch, Adele Neuhauser, Simon Morzé and Hans-Uwe Bauer triumphed in the acting categories. The evening was hosted by a group of presenters, including the acting stars Jürgen Vogel, Jasna Fritzi Bauer and Margarita Broich. Before the awards ceremony, the celebrities posed for the photographers. You can see a selection of the looks from the red carpet in our photo gallery.
