Dagmar Wöhrl is celebrating her 70th birthday. Some colleagues from “The Lion’s Den” celebrate her anniversary.

Dagmar Wöhrl celebrates her 70th birthday on May 5th. Some colleagues from the VOX founding show “The Lions’ Den” congratulated her on her special day. “Happy birthday, dear Dagmar,” wrote Carsten Maschmeyer (64) in a photo shared with the birthday child.

“Happy Birthday, dearest Dagmar,” Janna Ensthaler (40) also congratulated her investor colleague. A photo together shows the two women in the studio of the VOX broadcast. Tillman Schulz (34), who, like Ensthaler, has been in the lion pride since April 2023, wrote about a picture with Wöhrl: “Happy Bday dear Daggi.” The investor also showed a series of photos from Wöhrl’s birthday party in Berlin with the theme “James Bond”.

Dagmar Wöhrl, who was born in Nuremberg, worked as a lawyer and entrepreneur from 1987. She has been married to the entrepreneur Hans Rudolf Wöhrl (76) since 1984. From 1990 to 1994, Dagmar Wöhrl was a member of the Nuremberg city council and from 1994 to 2017 she was a member of the German Bundestag. From 2002 to 2005 she was the economic policy spokeswoman for the CDU/CSU parliamentary group. From 2009 until her resignation, she was also chairwoman of the Committee for Economic Cooperation and Development. “The Lions’ Den” investor was crowned Miss Germany in 1977 and also sat on the jury for the beauty contest.

In addition to her economic policy career, Wöhrl is active in the cultural and social areas. The recipient of the Bavarian Order of Merit and the Federal Cross of Merit, among other things, founded the Emanuel Wöhrl Foundation named after her deceased son. She has been a member of the investor team for “The Lions’ Den” since 2017.

Wöhrl can currently be seen alongside her colleagues in the spring season of “The Lions’ Den” (also ). According to the announcement, next Monday (May 6th) there will be a wide variety of presentations of new start-up ideas. Founders will present, among other things, flex building block sets, a digital platform for luxurious commissioned art and an e-scooter with a trunk.
