Comedians, colleagues and Kim Kardashian grill Tom Brady on Netflix. Above all, his divorce from Gisele Bündchen is an issue.
Tom Brady (46) took a lot of punishment on Sunday. The ex-footballer was the focus of Netflix’s live event “The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady”. Comedians and the athlete’s companions grilled Brady with hearty gags. Most of the jokes were about Brady’s separation from Gisele Bündchen (43). The Super Bowl record winner and the model announced their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
Kevin Hart (44) opened the roast and soon addressed the Bündchen issue. “Gisele f***ed her karate coach,” he said. According to rumors, the Brazilian is said to have started dating her jiu-jitsu trainer and compatriot Joaquim Valenta in the summer of 2023. “How could you not have seen that coming?” Kevin Hart added, “eight damn karate lessons a day and she still has a white belt!”
Tom Brady: Eight rings after divorce
Comedienne Nikki Glaser (39) also pounced on Brady’s divorce from Gisele Bündchen, who was sitting in the audience. “You have seven rings,” Glaser said, referring to the rings the football player won for his seven Super Bowl victories. “Actually, you have eight after Gisele gave hers back,” the comedian added.
Ex-footballer Drew Bledsoe (52) – Brady’s predecessor as quarterback for the New England Patriots – also aimed below the belt. His successor was not used to being touched, said Bledsoe, considering how rarely Brady was taken down by his opponents in his career. And then the tip against his colleague: “Just like at the end of the marriage.”
Kim Kardashian humorously denies affair
In addition to comedians and ex-football players, Kim Kardashian (43) also grilled Tom Brady. The two were rumored to be having an affair after Brady’s divorce. Kardashian doesn’t want to confirm the rumors. “I would just release a tape,” she said. Finally, the reality star became known through a sex tape. Otherwise, she showed compassion for Brady. But: “I think my family helped enough to defend former football players.” Kim’s father Robert Kardashian (1944-2003) represented the recently deceased OJ Simpson (1947-2024) in court at his murder trial.
