An Instagram user criticized the 43-year-old for once again displaying an unattainable beauty standard. “It’s irresponsible to create a dangerous standard with her waist-to-hip ratio. It’s impossible for her to maintain that small waist without hurting herself,” the user said. “She can’t even walk! Something like that shouldn’t be called fashion,” another criticized the look on Instagram.
Strange bolero cardigan
Not being able to walk hasn’t been an exclusion criterion for a look for Kardashian in the past. In fall 2022, footage of her struggling to walk up a flight of stairs went viral because her Dolce and Gabbana creation was so narrow.
But it wasn’t just the reality TV luminary’s wasp waist that caused a debate, but also her bolero cardigan, which Kardashian always adjusted on the red carpet. This made her appearance seem a bit unnatural and cramped and it gave the impression that the little cardigan wasn’t planned that way. “I think she damaged the dress and a sweater was the only way to hide it,” one user wrote on Instagram.
In fact, John Galliano sent his models down the runway in similar looks at the Margiela show earlier this year. Kardashian’s cardigan was hardly a mistake.
