Good news in the Kahn clan: Oliver Kahn’s brother Axel is not only expecting a child with his Sarah, but also got married before the birth.
Axel Kahn (58), the older brother of goalkeeper legend Oliver Kahn (54), has tied the knot. He married his pregnant partner Sarah Fiedler at the registry office. The couple is looking forward to a boy.
The bride in a maternity dress
The owner of an advertising agency shared the good news on May 6th. He wrote in English on many pictures from the ceremony: “Last dance. Done” and added a ring emoji. While the groom wore a black suit with a black bow tie on the special day, his sweetheart stunned in a white maternity wedding dress. Photos show the couple exchanging rings and signing the certificate.
The couple announced in March that they were expecting a baby. Kahn wrote about pictures from the gender reveal party: “No words needed… Pictures say more than words. When feelings and love are reflected in pictures, no words are needed. Just this much. Many thanks to everyone who is our friends We are very grateful for these friendships.” A video then showed how the couple found out the gender of the baby while cutting the cake: the treat turned out to be blue.
Like his famous brother, Axel Kahn started out in professional sports; he was under contract with Karlsruher SC, among others. In contrast to Oliver Kahn, who played for the national team, he did not make it past the second Bundesliga. In the meantime, he has established a foothold for himself beyond football: he founded an advertising agency, is a presenter, author, organizer of network events and a lecturer at the private university Europa Campus.
He briefly dated Patricia Blanco
In the summer of 2016, Axel Kahn made headlines with a short relationship with Patricia Blanco (53). After just a few weeks, he announced the end of love in a brief statement on his Facebook account: “Notice on my own behalf: Patricia Blanco and I have been separated since the end of last month. I ask that you respect my privacy.” Last year he caused a stir because he brought the biography of the former “GNTM” candidate Nathalie Volk (27) onto the market.
