Shia LaBeouf has been avoiding the public since 2020. He appeared on the red carpet again at the Cannes Film Festival.
Shia LaBeouf (37) is making his comeback on the red carpet. When serious allegations were made against him by his ex-girlfriend in 2020, the actor withdrew from the public for several years. But he didn’t miss the premiere of his new film “Megalopolis” at the Cannes Film Festival on May 16th.
For his rare public appearance, the “Transformers” star opted for a simple black tuxedo with a matching bow tie. He wore his hair bleached and slicked back at the event in France.
With his role in “Megalopolis” by director Francis Ford Coppola (85), LaBeouf is back on the screen after four years. He plays in the sci-fi epic alongside Adam Driver (40), Aubrey Plaza (39), Laurence Fishburne (62) and Grace VanderWaal (20). The 36-year-old posed for photographers with his co-stars at the premiere in Cannes. The film is scheduled to hit theaters this fall.
