Cher appeared with her boyfriend Alexander Edwards at the amfAR gala in Cannes. There was a smooch for the photographers.
US singer Cher (78) and her partner Alexander Edwards (38) appeared deeply in love at the amfAR gala in Cannes. On the red carpet of the event, which took place as part of the film festival, the 78-year-old gave her boyfriend, who is 40 years younger than her, a passionate kiss.
The entertainer and the music producer, who are said to have been together for almost two years, appeared at the event in France in glamorous black outfits. Cher wore a tight-fitting, long dress that was partially see-through. She had put a plush coat over it. On her feet glittered platform pumps encrusted with jewels.
Cher also combined fingerless gloves with her outfit. As usual, her long, black hair fell from the middle parting in curls over her shoulders. Rouge and matching pink lipstick completed her glamorous look. The musician also presented a silver nose ring on the red carpet at the gala. Edwards appeared in Cannes in a classic black suit with a white shirt.
Cher and Alexander Edwards have been a couple since 2022
Cher and Alexander Edwards made their love public in autumn 2022 after meeting a few weeks earlier at Paris Fashion Week. After an alleged separation in May 2023, the two appeared together in public again from September. Alexander Edwards is said to work as a manager and producer for major record labels. Cher is not his first celebrity partner: he has a four-year-old son with model Amber Rose (40). The relationship allegedly ended in 2021.
Cher is a mother of two and has been married twice. From 1964 to 1975 to Sonny Bono (1935-1998), from whom she had Chaz Bono (55). From 1975 to 1979, the singer was married to Gregg Allman (1947-2017), with whom she had Elijah Blue Allman (47).
