Netflix and Shondaland released this Monday the trailer for the second part of the third season of Bridgertonalong with new images giving audiences a sneak peek into the record-breaking second half of the season.

The first half, which premiered on May 16, 2024, achieved the biggest debut in the series’ history, with more than 41 million views in the first four days, and follows the love journey of Colin Bridgerton (luke newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan).

What the new season of Bridgerton is about

In this installment, Penelope Featherington (Coughlan) has abandoned her dream of conquering Colin Bridgerton (Newton) after hearing what he said about her in the previous season. Now that that’s behind her, Penelope decides it’s time to get married, preferably to someone who will offer her the independence she needs to remain Lady Whistledown, away from her mother and her sisters. Unfortunately, her insecurities undermine all of her attempts at marriage.

Meanwhile, Colin returns from his summer trip happy with his renewed image, but is thrown off by the unexpected disdain of Penelope, the only person who always loved him as he is. Hoping to regain her friendship, Colin proposes to help her become more confident in finding a suitor. When that mentoring begins to pay off, Colin wonders if what he feels for Penelope is friendship…or something more. And as if all that were not enough for Penelope, she is estranged from Eloise (Claudia Jessie), who has found support in an unlikely person, and spending so much time with the Bridgertons makes it increasingly difficult to keep the secret of her “alter ego.” ”, Lady Whistledown.
