After a civil wedding on Friday, HP Baxxter and his partner Sara also got married in church on Sylt on June 8th.
Scooter frontman HP Baxxter (60) and his partner Sara were married in a civil ceremony on Sylt on June 7th. One day later, today, June 8th, the church wedding followed – in the St. Severin Church in Keitum. The bride and groom left the building at around 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and were greeted by onlookers in front of the church door.
The musician and his wife celebrated in a similar way to, among others, Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner (45) and his wife Franca Lehfeldt (34). They too had initially exchanged civil vows in the Sylt Museum in 2022 and were married in church in St. Severin shortly afterwards.
No hangover and lots of guests?
According to the “Schleswig-Holsteinischer Zeitungsverlag” and others, the newlywed couple is said to be celebrating in the evening with 150 guests in the famous “Sansibar” – and all without a hangover from a bachelorette party.
“We spend the night before the wedding together, but I have to leave the room at 8 a.m. to go to my best man, so Sara gets ready by the stylist, and I’m not allowed to see her before the wedding,” Baxxter told Bild before the church wedding. When he’s been to other weddings, “there was always an incredibly good atmosphere at the bridal shower. And at the wedding everyone was hungover, and that atmosphere couldn’t be replicated.”
It is Baxxter’s third marriage. The civil marriage was confirmed on Friday. He commented on a photo of the two of them, “Just married” with a heart emoji.
