Matías Alé proposed to his 22-year-old girlfriend during the Martín Fierro Federal ceremony

A month after introducing his girlfriend, 24 years his junior, and revealing his desire to become a father, Matías Ale surprised in the Martin Fierro Federal when asking for marriage.

In mid-May, the 46-year-old actor announced that he was in a relationship with Martina Vignoloa young 22-year-old physical education teacher, originally from Mar del Plata.

This weekend, Alé received the statuette for Best Work in Male Animation at the Martín Fierro Federal for the program Showbeach, which he performed on television in Villa Carlos Paz. Upon hearing his name, he went to the stage to thank him for the award, while his girlfriend listened to him from the table, moved to tears.

Upon receiving the statuette, he began his speech by remembering the difficult moments he has experienced. “It’s a dream come true. Martín Fierro has been dreaming of you for 25 years, my father left me 27 years ago, today I have him in this watch, blue and gold,” he said, remembering his deceased father.

“This program was already 15 years ago and it occurred to them to add me, I don’t know why, because I was always a guest. I waited 25 years for this. Thank you mom, I love you. I’m going to say two things and they are the last. One, I fell and got up. In my best moment I didn’t win any awards. I’m not an example of anything, but for all the people who are watching at home, know that for me this was a dream,” he continued.

And he added, before changing the direction of the speech: “I never thought I would be on stage. To the people who fell at some point, regardless of whether the award is a Martín Fierro, know that you can get up and take an award like this.”

“Martina is there. I think no one has ever done this in a Martín Fierro and I’m going to do it. I said that if I won I was going to ask you if you wanted to marry me.“he said, while Guillermo Andino and Pamela Davidthe hosts of the awards ceremony, called Martina to the stage.

The actor asked those present if he could take a few more minutes to give his speech, and when Martina arrived next to him, Matías said: “My love. I have love, I have work, health, I have my mother and my father.”

Instead of taking out an engagement ring, Alé showed off a small espadrille. “I’m not going to take off your ring. I’m going to take out my brother’s espadrille. This espadrille was given to me by my brother Elías, without it I wouldn’t be here. It’s the left leg. My brother is the right leg. He has it in his house,” he explained.
