Why you shouldn’t hug dogs
Dogs have the instinct to run in dangerous situations. Even though humans understand what a hug means, for them it can be a sign of immobilization, which can generate a high level of stress, and therefore cause an attack on the person who hugs him.
The results of the study showed that the 68.25% of the dogs avoided eye contact and turned their heads away. Meanwhile, 43.75% licked their lips or nose. In addition, of the total number of dogs studied, 81.25% blinked frequently, 60% lowered their ears and 42.5% panted.
