With elegant synth melodies, captivating bass and live vocals, ZHU opts for sets that explore chiaroscuro journeys, intimate as well as expressive. Although many know him as a producer and DJ, the American artist of Chinese origin has established himself as a singer, performer, and with GRACE he also explores his gifts in the audiovisual world, with a universe created especially to accompany the musical material that will undoubtedly be part of their show at Vorterix, in what promises to be an immersive experience to enjoy their album.
Recorded at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, California, GRACE chronicles a path from darkness to light and is the clearest manifestation of the artist’s multifaceted offering to date.
ZHU rose to fame in 2014 with “Faded”, which was nominated in the Best Dance Recording category at the 2015 Grammys. From those beginnings, he consolidated his style in deep house, although very loose in mixing genres, and released the albums GENERATIONWHY (2016), RINGOS DESERT (2018), DREAMLAND 2021 (2021) as well as the EPs Musical Chairs Mixtape (Vol. 1) (2022) and Days Before Grace EP (2023).
