At 7.40 a.m., the man from Weng was busy with roof truss work on an agricultural building belonging to his father-in-law. He was assisting the construction company that had been commissioned to do the work.
For unknown reasons, he lost his footing and fell about four meters down onto the concrete floor between the building wall and the scaffolding. His father-in-law heard the impact and found the 32-year-old lying unconscious on the ground. After receiving initial medical treatment, the injured man was taken to the Salzburg State Hospital by rescue helicopter with severe head injuries.
