The rumor mill has been bubbling for months, now it’s official: Caroline Beil (57) and her husband, dentist Philipp Sattler, who is 16 years younger than her, are separated. “The answer is that we have actually separated,” confirmed the presenter and actress. The 57-year-old seems to have made her peace with it: “I’m doing very, very well. Really.”

Love despite age difference

In September 2018, they tied the knot at the Scottish castle “Duns Castle”. “This marriage should last forever and be my last. I am sure with all my heart that we will always stay together,” Beil enthused in an interview with “Frau im Spiegel” at the time.
Late pregnancy caused a stir
Their daughter Ava was born in 2017. Beil’s late pregnancy caused quite a stir and a huge media response. The presenter was 50 years old at the time of the birth. Her son, David Maria, was born in 2009 from her relationship with actor Pete Dwojak.
For Beil, this is already her third failed marriage. From 1995 to 1996 she was married to actor Jerry Marwig (55) and from 2002 to 2005 to publisher Hendrik te Neues (1952-2019).
