In her white dream dress with exciting cut-outs, Princess Charlène was the eye-catcher at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.
Princess Charlene (46) accompanied her husband, Prince Albert II (66), to the closing ceremony of the 63rd Monte-Carlo Television Festival on Tuesday. She amazed those present in a white one-shoulder ball gown with diagonal cut-outs incorporating lace.
It was clearly visible underneath: the South African-born woman was not wearing a bra. Another special highlight of her outfit was the cape sleeve, which was only sewn onto one shoulder. The princess combined the dress by Lebanese designer Elie Saab (59) with teardrop-shaped diamond earrings and a silver bracelet. The short blonde bob was styled in loose waves and parted to the side. She kept her make-up subtle with slightly accentuated eyes, a little rouge and pale pink lip gloss.
Prince Albert, the patron of the festival, certainly didn’t steal the show from his wife in his black tuxedo with matching bow tie. The reigning Prince of Monaco proudly put his arm around Charlène as the couple posed for the photographers.
Monegasque royal family in the service of Olympia
A few hours earlier, Charlene and Albert had made a performance that the former Olympians probably enjoyed even more. Princess Charlene took part in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney as a swimmer, and Prince Albert competed several times as a bobsledder for Monaco at the Winter Games between 1988 and 2002.
Together with their twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jaques (9), they received the symbolic flame for the 2024 Summer Games in front of the Prince’s Palace. Afterwards, they were allowed to carry the torch part of its long journey from Olympia in Greece to this year’s host city, Paris.
For the occasion, the couple appeared in a white matching outfit consisting of tracksuit bottoms, a shirt and trainers, as in the pictures. Their children wore a similar outfit in black.
