The effect of diet on our mood and mental health

A new study recently published in the Nutritional Neuroscience magazine tried to shed more information on the relationship between food and mental health evaluating the neurochemistry and structure of the frontal cortex. In line with previous research, the authors added evidence by seeing that a unhealthy diet (high in sugar and poor quality fats) unbalanced the excitement and inhibition of neurotransmitters.
What is the diet that makes the brain happy
The basis of any healthy diet that is good for mental health is the vegetablesand secondly the fruit. Whole foods such as whole grains, seeds and nuts are also great allies in preventing and treating anxiety and depression.
From there, others can be added in a complementary manner. natural foods such as dairy, eggs and fish, and to a lesser extent meat.
