Your own wedding is supposed to be one of the best days of your life. But often enough the costs add up seemingly endlessly – on both sides. After all, guests have to dig deep into their wallets these days, especially if the bride and groom want a destination wedding, i.e. a wedding in another country and at a very specific location. Germany’s best-known wedding planner Frank Matthée, who wants to be called by his registered stage name “Froonck”, tells Stern how to avoid resentment and avoid getting into debt.
