In true style with a red “Baywatch” jacket, sunglasses and a life buoy in his hand, the 71-year-old US star (“Baywatch”, “Knight Rider”) stood on stage and sang three songs – including his hit “Looking For Freedom”. “Who didn’t watch the series before?” Gabalier (39) said when announcing his special guest. “Standing on stage with David will definitely be a lot of fun.” Hasselhoff had to cancel his own tour of Germany last year due to illness and “a serious eye infection.”
Hasselhoff was not the only one Gabalier had asked for support for his performance: comedian Mario Barth was the announcer.
