Quietly and secretly: Elon Musk becomes a father for the twelfth time?

It is well known that Elon Musk (52) is one of the richest people in the world. But he also seems to be working on becoming one of the celebrities with the most children. As reported, Musk and his girlfriend Shivon Zilis quietly became parents earlier this year. It would be their third child together after the birth of their twins Strider and Azure in November 2021.

Neither Musk nor the senior executives of his company Neuralink have confirmed the report so far – which is not unusual for the multi-billionaire: As open as he usually gives insights into his private thoughts on his messaging service X, which he acquired in 2022 and promptly renamed, he is usually reserved when it comes to the birth of his children. The birth of the twins also only came to light much later.

Musk is a fan of large families

In the past, Musk has never tired of emphasizing that he does not see impending overpopulation as a problem – on the contrary. In 2022, he even tweeted: “A declining birth rate is by far the greatest threat facing our civilization.” Shortly after the birth of his twins, he was quoted as saying: “Cheers to big families.” He also plans to have more children – “as long as I am able to spend time with them and be a good father to them.”

That still seems to be the case. If the report turns out to be true, it would be Musk’s twelfth child. Musk also has three children with his ex-partner Grimes (36). His first six children come from his marriage to ex-wife Justine Musk (51), who gave birth to twins and even triplets. Their first son died of sudden infant death syndrome in 2002.
