Football goalkeeper Loris Karius and Italian TV presenter Diletta Leotta have married. The couple exchanged vows on Saturday evening on the dream island of Vulcano off the north coast of Sicily, Italian media reported.
32-year-old Leotta posted photos from the wedding on her Instagram channel: She is wearing a long white lace dress with a veil that reads “All I ever wanted”. Karius is wearing a white jacket with dark trousers.
According to Italian media reports, 160 guests attended the celebrity event on Vulcano. Among them were the Swiss presenter Michelle Hunziker (47) and her daughter Aurora Ramazzotti (27), who also shared photos and videos of the wedding in Instagram stories. Italy’s most famous fashion influencer Chiara Ferragni (37) was also there.
Karius (31) and Leotta, who is a presenter on the sports channel Dazn, have been together since the year before last. On August 16, they became parents of a daughter named Aria. The former Liverpool FC goalkeeper is now under contract with English Premier League rivals Newcastle United. He previously also played for FSV Mainz 05 and Union Berlin. From 2019 to 2021, the football professional was in a relationship with presenter Sophia Thomalla.
