The Bear star gave details about “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” 20th Century Studios’ film about the making of the rock legend’s 1982 album, “Nebraska.”
Jeremy Allen White he’ll soon trade his chef’s knife for a guitar pick. The protagonist of The Bear will play Bruce Springsteen in “Deliver Me From Nowhere”the 20th Century Studios film about the making of the rock legend’s 1982 album, “Nebraska”.
At the red carpet premiere of “The Bear” season 3 on Tuesday night, White revealed to Variety that she hasn’t met Springsteen yet.
“We’ve communicated a little bit through other people, but I hope this all still works out,” White said. “We still have some things, we have some timing issues to work out, and I’m also trying to have a little bit of my own process before I meet the man.”

He added: “I want to try to understand him, so when I meet him, I’ll have a little confidence somewhere in me to be there.”
When asked if he wanted to sing himself for Springsteen’s film, White responded: “We will try. We will do our best”.

Meanwhile, White returns to the kitchen as chef Carmy Berzatto in the third season of “The Bear.”
“We’re letting a lot of these beautiful characters and beautiful actors shine who maybe haven’t had their moments in previous seasons,” he teased of the upcoming season. “The world gets bigger, but we also maintain the same heart, structure and energy that we had at the beginning”.
White also talked about his co-star Ayo Edebiriwho will make her directorial debut in the third season of “The Bear.”
“He did a beautiful job,” White said of Edebiri’s direction. “She was very confident. Everyone knows how smart she is and she is a beautiful actress and very intuitive. And I think she is also a very beautiful and intuitive director.”
