About 98 km from Buenos Aires, it is located Wolvesa picturesque town that houses a beautiful french style castle called Candlemas. Completed in 1900, this castle is one of the largest in Argentina. It is surrounded by 100 hectares of tranquility and offers a variety of activities.

La Candelaria has had an interesting history. After being divided and going through a period of abandonment, it was acquired 25 years ago by two friends of Lobos and Roque Pérez. These new owners managed to recover the property and open it to tourism.

What to do at La Candelaria Castle in one day
The Candelaria offers many activities such as polo classes, horseback riding through the forest, a variety of sports and service spa.
The experience is worth living on Saturdays, when an authentic traditional Argentine festival is celebrated. For approximately 2700, you can enjoy a full day in the countryside which includes: a reception with empanadas and preparation classes, a tour of the castle, a traditional barbecue, a folk dance show, demonstrations of gaucho skills and a snack with typical pastries. You can also enjoy relaxing walks through the park, designed by Carlos Thaysand from November to March, the pool is available.
Activities at the ranch begin at 11 am and end at 6 pm. Estancia La Candelaria offers hotel pickup and transportation for an additional cost.

From the city of Buenos Aires there are two ways to get to La Candelaria:
- by Western Access Highway in combination with the National Route 7 and Provincial Route 47 (the journey usually requires more than two hours of travel).
- by Ezeiza – Cañuelas Highway and National Route 205 (a trip of just over an hour and a half).
