Jamie and Jools Oliver: They are getting married again in Las Vegas

On June 24, 2000, Jamie Oliver (49) married his partner Juliette “Jools” Norton (49). 24 years later, the couple has now renewed their vows. The two were remarried in style at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas by an Elvis Presley impersonator. The celebrity chef shared pictures of the ceremony on his Instagram account.

In the snapshots, he can be seen wearing a grey suit and aviator sunglasses, while his wife is wearing jeans, cowboy boots, a lace blouse and a veil. They pose laughing with the Elvis double. Oliver supplemented the post with pictures of their first wedding, which also included a double of the legendary King of Rock’n’Roll. “Happy 24th wedding anniversary, Jools. 24 years! I love you – Las Vegas, baby!” he commented on his post.

“There are three people in this marriage”

Jools Oliver in particular seems to have a soft spot for Elvis Presley (1935-1977). She shared her own Instagram account from the party. “Thank you for tolerating my love for Elvis. I know there are three people in this marriage. But you blow me away like no other!” she wrote. Her husband can already be excited “about what I have planned for our 25th.”

This is the third time that the couple have gotten married. They also renewed their vows a year ago on their wedding day, in the presence of their children Poppy (21), Daisy (20), Petal (14), Buddy (12) and River (7) on the beach in the Maldives.

“It was my wife’s idea and I thought I’d go along with it. Saying the vows a second time means more – you earn it rather than just saying it,” Jamie Oliver explained afterwards. The ceremony was very romantic and he “enjoyed it more than any other.”
