About half a year after the death of Matthew Perry, colleague Lisa Kudrow honors the actor in her very special way.
In memory of her co-star Matthew Perry, who died in 2023, US actress Lisa Kudrow is rewatching episodes of their hit series “Friends”.
She never did that before, the 60-year-old told the Hollywood Reporter. “To be honest, I haven’t been able to because it’s too embarrassing to look at yourself. But when it comes to Matthew, it’s OK. And it’s about celebrating how funny he was – and that’s how I want to remember him.”
Kudrow continued, saying that she finds the series very funny. “Sometimes I even laugh about what I did in it. But it’s embarrassing. When someone comes into the room at home and I’m watching ‘Friends’, it’s weird.”
Perry was found dead in a hot tub in his Los Angeles home last October at the age of 54. According to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office, he died from the effects of an anesthetic. Kudrow and Perry’s other “Friends” colleagues Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and David Schwimmer spoke of an “unbelievable loss” in a statement a few days after his death.
