They’ve made it from our beds to the streets: pajama pants have become a must-have this summer.
Going through everyday life in our pajamas? This dream has now actually become a reality. Because pajama pants and shorts are absolutely on trend. The casual pants are mainly combined with elegant pieces such as blouses and vests. Numerous fashionistas show us on Instagram how stylish this can look.
The former “Bachelor” candidate and fashion influencer Liz Kaeber (31) has shown her Instagram followers . She styled a white, backless halter neck top with wide, white pajama pants with subtle black stripes. Black mules with a braided pattern, a black handbag and large statement earrings with black and white flowers provided classy vibes.
Pajamas from top to bottom
Former “GNTM” candidate and model Serlina Hohmann, for example, presented a head-to-toe pajama look. She combined the light blue and white striped shirt with button placket with matching shorts – but also an XXL basket bag with brown handles and braided sandals in black. She left her blonde hair open and straight. She also opted for natural make-up and pink lipstick.
But the pajama trend has also long since arrived in major fashion houses such as Versace. The luxury label of Donatella Versace (69) features a pink and white pajama look. The model is wearing shiny silk shorts, which she combined with a pink and white checked blazer, a white handbag and pink strappy pumps.
You can also find something particularly interesting at the moment. The current collection consists primarily of striped trousers with belts and shirts and blouses in matching colors. When it comes to color, designers are currently focusing mainly on pastel colors, such as yellow, blue, but also lilac and green – that screams summer!
Our styling tip: Choose the right accessories – and don’t skimp on them. Necklaces, sunglasses, hair scarves, bracelets, watches, handbags – the motto here is “more is more”.
