“We are delighted that Samantha’s doll will be presented for the first time since her return from the ISS at the Design Museum,” said Danielle Thom, curator of the exhibition, quoted in a press release.
For Tim Marlow, director of the museum“Design has been at the heart of Barbie’s story since her creation.” Visitors will be able to see “the influence of designers and architects, from Florence Knoll to Frank Gehry, on the world of Barbie,” according to the institution.
