“We regret to inform you that the Pearl Jam concerts scheduled for Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd July in Berlin have been cancelled. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. Thank you for your continued understanding and support, it means a lot,” reads the statement shared on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
The statement continued: “Despite everyone’s best efforts, the band has still not fully recovered. The impact of this decision is not lost on us. We are deeply sorry that so many people spend their time, money and emotional energy to get tickets and then come to see the band, and it is heartbreaking to have to let them down. We are also grateful to the many people who work hard to make these shows happen.”
Pearl Jam said that The band does not “take these decisions lightly” and tries to do everything possible to present himself to the fans.
“We wish it had been possible to reschedule this leg of the tour and we look forward to returning to Berlin soon,” the band added. “Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. Thank you for your continued understanding and support, it means a lot.”
