Falko Ochsenknecht played Ole Peters in “Berlin – Day & Night” for eleven years. Now the actor has died unexpectedly.
Falko Ochsenknecht was seen for years in the reality daily soap “Berlin – Tag & Nacht” on RTLzwei. Until 2022, he played the role of the chaotic Ole Peters aka “Ole ohne Kohle” for a total of eleven years and became a viewer favorite. Now his partner has announced that the actor has died unexpectedly at the age of 39.
“Unfortunately, our dearest soulmate has suddenly left us,” she wrote on July 2nd, alongside a photo of her friend on Instagram. With the announcement, she wanted to pre-empt rumors that were already circulating and appealed to the deceased’s fans not to speculate any further. “It’s all bad enough and we still can’t believe it all,” she continued.
Falko Ochsenknecht also performed at Ballermann
A friend of Falko Ochsenknecht confirmed the death. “He died of heart failure. He was found on Monday by his cleaner and the police in his Berlin apartment,” he reported. The Berlin police also responded to the broadcaster’s request: “There was an operation on Monday due to suspected accident. We found a lifeless person in the apartment. The investigation into the death is ongoing,” said a spokeswoman.
Falko Ochsenknecht played one of the main characters in “Berlin – Tag & Nacht” with Ole Peters from 2011 to 2018 and from 2020 to 2022. Two years ago he withdrew from the series to have more free time. Under the pseudonym “Ole ohne Kohle”, the Lüdenscheid native also successfully released several party hits and performed them at Ballermann. In 2021 he was part of the dating show “Adam sucht Eva – Gestrandet im Paradies”.
