Victoria (50) and David Beckham (49) are celebrating their silver wedding anniversary. The celebrity couple tied the knot on July 4, 1999. On the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary, the football star and the former Spice Girl once again donned their purple wedding outfits, in which the couple had their photos taken after the ceremony.
David Beckham posted a picture of himself and his wife of 25 years on Instagram. For the photo, the celebrity couple once again sat on golden thrones.
The dress shows off the 50-year-old’s long legs perfectly thanks to the leg slit. The floral ruffle decoration on the neckline is an additional eye-catcher. David Beckham, in a matching purple suit, looks beaming at his wife on the other throne. He captioned the photo: “Look what we found.”
“They still fit!”
Victoria Beckham also later posted three more couple photos in the iconic outfits. In them, the two stars not only pose on and in front of the thrones, but also walk hand in hand across a meadow. “Yes, we still have them!” wrote the designer. “I can’t believe it’s been 25 years and they still fit!”
The bride and groom walked down the aisle in cream white. Their son Brooklyn (25), who was born shortly before the celebrations, was also there in his father’s arms. This can be seen in a wedding photo that Victoria Beckham posted as part of a slideshow for their 20th wedding anniversary. The wedding at “Luttrellstown Castle” near Dublin is said to have cost almost 890,000 euros.
