Madonna can enjoy her life again after a serious infection last year. This is also shown by her new post on Instagram.
Madonna (65) looks back on her “miraculous recovery” one year after a hospital stay. The singer suffered from a serious infection and therefore had to postpone her tour.
“One year ago today I had just come home from the hospital after surviving a life-threatening illness, I could barely stand in my garden holding a sparkler,” she wrote on her Instagram page on July 5, alongside photos showing her celebrations for US Independence Day the day before. “I made a miraculous recovery and had an amazing year. Thank God. Life is beautiful!” the Queen of Pop concluded.
Who is your companion?
The 65-year-old added several snapshots – which certainly caused a stir. Some of the pictures show the singer very intimately with a previously unknown young man. In one particularly sexy photo, he grabbed her breast. Only two months ago it was announced that Madonna and her partner Josh Popper (31) had split up.
The pop icon seems to be enjoying her second life to the fullest. In July 2023, she was released from intensive care after being found unconscious in her New York City home. Her manager confirmed at the time that she was suffering from a “serious bacterial infection.”
“I hate to disappoint anyone”
After returning home, Madonna thanked her fans for their “positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement.” She was on the mend, she wrote in an Instagram post on July 10, 2023. However, she had to postpone her “Celebration” world tour, which was scheduled to start on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, with a heavy heart. “I didn’t want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets to my tour. I also didn’t want to let down the people who have worked tirelessly with me over the past few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone,” she explained. Madonna then began the tour in London in October 2023.
