Noel Gallagher: The musician has knee surgery

Noel Gallagher is apparently struggling with knee problems. The musician is said to be undergoing surgery this year.

Noel Gallagher (57) appears to have to undergo knee surgery. The rock musician has revealed this. Gallagher confirmed: “I actually have bad knees. I need to have surgery on my damn knee.”

Insider about Noel Gallagher: “A sign that he is getting on in years”

Like his brother Liam (51), the Oasis icon is reportedly due to arthritis surgery. “Noel is not at all happy that he needs this knee operation,” an anonymous source explained. “It’s a sign that he’s getting on in years and he’s not good at lying down – unless there’s football on TV.”

The operation is said to take place this year. Gallagher and his band High Flying Birds are scheduled to perform several more times until August. It is assumed that the musician will go on holiday afterwards and then undergo surgery. The source is certain, however, that Gallagher will recover well: “It’s a small operation and it won’t stop him.” He is said to have already bought a special exercise bike to use to work on his fitness after the operation.

Liam Gallagher also underwent surgery in 2023

Gallagher’s younger brother Liam had hip surgery last year due to arthritis. He announced in February 2023 that the procedure went well and that he was back home. The brothers, who became known through their band Oasis and hits such as “Wonderwall”, have long been considered to be at odds. “His little brother will surely be amused by the fact that he has the same problems as him,” the insider suspects.
