Actress Vanessa Morgan is expecting her second child. As photos and statements show, the pregnancy is already well advanced.
Former “Riverdale” actress Vanessa Morgan (32) has provided a happy surprise: She is expecting a baby with her boyfriend James Karnik (25) – who is due to be born very soon.
Birth still in July?
On July 6, Morgan shared the happy news in an Instagram post. She also published several photos showing her with a baby bump together with her partner. The Canadian professional basketball player and the actress are dressed casually in the photos; she is wearing jeans and a white sweater in many of the shots. Both are holding their baby bumps, which can be seen in some of the snapshots. “I am so in love with this man, our family of four is coming this month,” Morgan revealed that the pregnancy is already very advanced. “Surprise! Thank you, God.”
Several of her former “Riverdale” colleagues commented on the post. Lili Reinhart (27) wrote: “Sweet angel.” Camila Mendes (30) sent a heart emoji.
She already has a son
It is Morgan and Karnik’s first child together. The Canadian is already the mother of a son, River (3), from her marriage to Michael Kopech (28). The couple married in 2020. Just five months later, she separated from him while pregnant. She has been in a relationship with James Karnik since 2022.
Vanessa Morgan is best known for her role as Amanda in the Canadian sitcom “Teen Buzz”, whose theme song she also sang, as well as for the series “Riverdale”, in which she played Toni Topaz from 2017 to 2023. This year she appeared in the series “Wild Cards”.
