Keanu Reeves: Hollywood star with girlfriend at the Sachsenring

Keanu Reeves loves motorbikes. The Hollywood star has now even visited the Sachsenring with his girlfriend Alexandra.

Hollywood star Keanu Reeves (59) and his girlfriend Alexandra Grant (51) have come to Germany to watch a MotoGP race at the Sachsenring in Hohenstein-Ernstthal. In pictures from July 7, the two can be seen hand in hand. A snapshot shows the couple kissing on the track.

Keanu Reeves loves MotoGP

It is no coincidence that the actor and the visual artist were there. Reeves has always been a fan of motorcycles and also a lover of the premier class of motorcycle racing. “I love MotoGP,” Reeves told the daily newspaper. “It’s great to be here and to have the chance to be so close to the track.” The Canadian is currently in Europe and so “it was a perfect fit.” The Hollywood star does not have a favorite among the pilots: “Because everything they do is crazy – just the way they lean into the corners.”

“I love riding motorcycles,” Reeves told the magazine in 2015. “There’s something about the freedom it brings. […] I love the way they look, the way they smell, the way they feel.” Reeves said last year that he discovered motorcycles in his twenties. “I didn’t grow up with motorcycles,” he explained. Although he always wanted to ride a motorcycle, it wasn’t until he was 22, during a shoot in Germany, that he first got into it. He asked a “young lady” if she could teach him and started riding around the lot. Back home in Los Angeles, he bought his first machine. In 2011, he co-founded the Arch Motorcycle Company.

Hollywood stars at the European Championships

Meanwhile, Berlin also had a visit from Hollywood as part of a sporting event at the weekend. Hugh Jackman (55) and Ryan Reynolds (47), who are currently on a promotional tour for their new film “Deadpool & Wolverine”, watched the European Championship quarter-final match between the Netherlands and Turkey in the Olympic Stadium together with co-star Emma Corrin (28) and director Shawn Levy (55).
