Steff Jerkel and Peggy Jerofke have reported disturbing news. The cars of the Mallorca emigrants have been damaged.
On Sunday (July 7), “Goodbye Germany” emigrant Peggy Jerofke (48) contacted her Instagram followers. In a video showing her car from the side, she said: “Someone really scratched me here. Oh man, why are there such evil, evil people.”
From the car, where the scratch was clearly visible, she also angrily declared: “Don’t touch any objects […] I always say that you meet the devil once in your life. That’s how it is.” As she drove off, Jerofke noticed that the display in the car showed “check tires.” “Not only did someone scratch my car, they also punctured my tire,” is her conclusion. In a clip in which she shows the tire with a nail, she explained: “Sure, you could say I drove into it, but you could also have hammered it in really well.”
Peggy Jerofke: “I have no enemies”
Jerofke also found other scratches on the car. “That’s no coincidence. But I was also threatened that the 14th would be my last day of life. It’s just sick.” After pumping up the tire, she explained to her followers: “I have no enemies at all, I don’t have a problem with anyone. I have no idea where it’s coming from, but I personally don’t have a fight with anyone. Envy is a really bad thing. People want to annoy you, they can’t see it when you’re happy.”
According to the “Mallorca Zeitung”, the emigrant explained when asked that she had received the threat in question a few weeks ago in connection with her engagement to Steff Jerkel. The threat was written “in very bad German” under an Instagram post. She could imagine where it came from, but did not want to name any names, she told the newspaper.
Steff Jerkel also spoke up. “How sick do you have to be? Hopefully you’re on camera and I can get you,” he wrote on a video of his own car. “This is about a child, you crazy people.” In the clip, he explains to his followers that his wheel nuts had been unscrewed. “I drove off here with Josephine and then there was a loud clatter,” he described the incident, which their daughter also had to witness.
The restaurant owners Peggy Jerofke and Steff Jerkel became known on TV in 2014 through the VOX show “Goodbye Germany”. The couple met in Arenal in 1998, emigrated to Mallorca in 2009 and opened a Greek restaurant there, followed by several more restaurants. Together they moved into the “Sommerhaus der Stars”, in 2023 Peggy Jerofke competed in the “Kampf der Realitystars” on RTLzwei and in December 2023 Steff Jerkel won the second season of “Das große Promi-Büßen” on ProSieben. In 2022 the couple separated briefly and celebrated a love comeback a few months later – including an engagement last June.
