Superstar Taylor Swift is currently making stops in Europe on her record-breaking tour. Before she starts her German concerts in Gelsenkirchen on July 17, the 34-year-old will be performing in Zurich. Hours before the performance this evening, masses of fans have already gathered in the sun in front of the Letzigrund Stadium.
Whether rhinestone-embroidered bodysuits, tinsel dresses or pearl-studded tops: the “Swifties” imitate their star and have dressed up in imaginative glittery outfits. Many have brought homemade pearl bracelets to swap. This is a tradition among fans of the musician: they immortalize quotes from Swift songs on the bracelets.
Swift has been on her “The Eras Tour” for over a year, during which she sings material from her almost 20-year career in three and a half hours. The tour is considered the most successful in music history. Between July 17 and 28, Swift will play concerts in Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg and Munich.
