Til Schweiger recently said that he has his alcohol consumption under control, but still drinks from time to time. His dermatologist has now revealed that the actor has sworn off alcohol.
Til Schweiger recently spoke openly about his alcohol consumption, including in an interview with star“I always enjoyed drinking a glass of wine on the film set when I knew I had mastered my difficult acting scenes. And I always delivered. Never lost a day of shooting, never arrived late, and I knew my lines too,” he said.
Schweiger also did not shy away from talking about alcohol in the podcast “Hotel Matze”. He continues to drink, but in moderation. “I drank my first vodka when I was 30. At some point I discovered wine. But I stopped by the time I was 40 – when I realized that it was too much. In recent years I have often drunk too much alcohol,” he said in a conversation with podcaster Matze Hielscher.
Now the filmmaker seems to have found a different way of dealing with the drinks. His dermatologist Miriam Rehbein revealed this to the “Bild” newspaper. “What I find great is that Til has been sober for 150 days. Especially now, after his sepsis, I am helping him to get really healthy again,” says the doctor.
