The artist couple Johanna Christine Gehlen and Sebastian Bezzel like to play together a lot. From autumn onwards, the two can be seen in the Joyn series “Die StiNos” as very mediocre married couples.
The acting couple Johanna Christine Gehlen (54, “Nord bei Nordwest”) and Sebastian Bezzel (53, Eberhofer crime series) like to film together. “People are often surprised that we are still together, even though we work so much together,” said Gehlen at a press event in Hamburg. And added with a smile: “I sometimes think that we are still together because we act together so much.” The next project for the two, who have been married since 2009 and have two children: the comedy series “Die StiNos”, which can be seen on Joyn from autumn.
Privately a lively couple
In it, both embody – as the title suggests – a perfectly normal middle-aged couple who lead an extremely mediocre life. “The two don’t really live – at most they react to the outside world. That’s very sad,” explained Gehlen during the presentation of the 2024/25 program of the ProSiebenSat.1 Media broadcasting group in the Hanseatic city. Nevertheless, it seems very strange because both of them had not taken their family, colleagues and neighbors into account.
When asked how lively she would rate the private couple Bezzel/Gehlen on a scale of one to nine, she answered “seven”. But some people might only give them a “two”. It all depends on your point of view.
Previously, the two actors appeared in the six-part culture clash series “Da is ja nix” in 2020 as a Bavarian con couple in the north of the country. Bezzel grew up in Bavaria.
