Former racing driver Ralf Schumacher (49) appeared with his partner for the first time on Instagram on Sunday evening (July 14), making his love for a man official. “The most beautiful thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything,” which shows him arm in arm with his partner looking into the sunset.
Schumacher is now being celebrated online for his coming out. In less than 24 hours, the post has already received more than 250,000 likes and over 15,000 comments. Numerous celebrity friends such as Carmen (59) and Robert Geiss (60), presenter Marlene Lufen (53) and Natascha Ochsenknecht (59) addressed kind words to the former Formula 1 driver. And the LGBTQIA+ community also welcomed Schumacher with open words.

Singer Ross Antony (50) commented on Schumacher’s post with the words “Let love be love”. Jorge González (56) captioned the post with the hashtag #amor, Spanish for “love”, and a heart emoji. Bill Kaulitz (34) also added a heart emoji. Entertainer Riccardo Simonetti (31) wrote: “How beautiful, all the best”, added a heart and even shared the photo in his own Instagram story.
Congratulations also come from presenter Marco Schreyl (50), who writes: “Love shared is love doubled.” Pop singer Eloy de Jong (51) commented: “Love is love, no matter what others say.” Actor Jannik Schümann (31) commented with a heart and a rainbow emoji, presenter Jochen Schropp (45) followed suit. “Unter uns” star Lars Steinhöfel (38) wrote: “How liberating it feels!
