Ralf Schumacher has made it public that he loves a man. He now explains on Instagram how happy the two are.
“The best thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything.” Ralf Schumacher (49) has written these words and a photo. Now he is speaking out again on the platform.
Schumacher published a picture on Sunday showing himself arm in arm with another man in front of a picturesque backdrop. The ex-husband of Cora Schumacher (47) made his love public. Celebrity friends and fans celebrated the post and the couple’s relationship. The post garnered more than 415,000 likes in around 24 hours and received numerous supportive comments.
Barely a day later, the former German racing driver posted a photo of himself and his partner. Schumacher thanks everyone for their support in the accompanying comment and explains how happy the couple is. “Thank you very much for the many congratulations and comments,” he writes. “We are very happy and thank you all.” His partner Étienne can apparently only confirm this. He also published a snapshot of the two of them and wrote: “Above the clouds.” He also shared Schumacher’s new post.
The racing driver and his “mega cool guy”
Shortly after the original post, many users had already come forward to congratulate the two – including stars and friends such as Carmen (59) and Robert Geiss (60), Bill Kaulitz (34) and Marlene Lufen (53).
“After two years, you can finally show your love to the world,” wrote Carmen Geiss, who has known Ralf Schumacher for more than a quarter of a century, in a comment. “I am happy that I was able to be a part of this love and I am even happier for the two who have searched for each other and found each other, because I also love Étienne deeply.” She also commented on the new post. The two are a “beautiful couple” and you can see how happy they are.
“I’ve known Ralf for over 25 years and now he’s finally found the love of his life. I’m happy for both of them, including Etienne. He’s a really cool guy,” explained her husband Robert. And Schumacher’s son David (22) also supported his father in the comments: “I’m very happy that you’ve finally found someone with whom you can really tell that you feel very comfortable and safe, regardless of whether they’re a man or a woman, I’m 100% behind you, Dad, and wish you all the best and congratulations.”
